Tioman Airport

Tioman Airport (IATA: TOD, ICAO: WMBT), also known as Pulau Tioman Airport,
is an airport serving
Tioman Island (Pulau Tioman) east coast of Malaysia.
The Airport is located next to Kampung Tekek. Kampung Tekek is the capital
village of
Pulau Tioman, located along a 3 km coastal stretch at the island's central
west. Essentially a town, there is much urban infrastructure, including retail
shops, bank, highway, marina and jetty complex.
The Airport has one tarmac surface runway, oriented 02/20, the length of runway
is 3255 ft (992 m) with elevation 13 ft (4 m) above sea level. The Airport is
managed and control by Malaysia Airports Sdn Bhd.
Berjaya Air was provided schedule flies direct from the
Sultan Abdul Aziz Shah Airport (Subang Airport)
to Tioman Airport but now has suspended the service.
The Airport act as main tourism gateway for visitors wishing to experience one
of the most beautiful and quiet beaches in east coast of Malaysia.
