Semporna Airport

Semporna Airport (IATA: SMM, ICAO: WBKA) is an airport serving the town of Semporna in the east Malaysian state of Sabah.

The Airport has one gravel surface runway, oriented 18/26, the length of runway is 1998 ft (609 m) with elevation 60 ft (18 m) above sea level. The airport is managed and control by Malaysia Airports Sdn Bhd.

At one time, it serves Malaysia Airlines (operated by MASwings), which flies to and from Tawau Airport. At present, the airport is not served by any commercial civilian flights.

The airport is a major tourism gateway for visitors wishing to visit few beautiful tropical islands within the Celebes Sea.
