Gulf Air, GF series flights at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA)
Gulf Air is the national carrier of the Kingdom of Bahrain, headquartered in Muharraq with its main hub at Bahrain International Airport. As of July 2026, the airline operates scheduled passenger services to more than 45 destinations across the Middle East, Europe, Africa, the Indian Subcontinent and Asia.
Gulf Air previously operated direct flights between Bahrain International
Airport and Kuala Lumpur
International Airport (KLIA), with a flight time of approximately 8 hours.
In July 2026, the airline announced its intention to resume direct services to
Kuala Lumpur.
The planned route will reconnect Bahrain and Kuala Lumpur, strengthening air connectivity between the two
countries. Gulf Air has yet to announce the service launch date, flight schedule
and operating frequency.
