Gulf Air Baggage Policy
Passengers travelling with Gulf Air from Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) are permitted to carry the following:
Carry-on Baggage
Each passenger departing from Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) may
bring the following cabin baggage on Gulf Air flights:
• Economy Class: 1
cabin bag up to 6 kg (13 lbs).
• Falcon Gold (Business Class): 2 cabin bags
with a combined weight of up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
Each cabin bag must not
exceed 55 cm × 40 cm × 30 cm. Carry-on baggage is subject to security screening
at KLIA. Cabin baggage exceeding the permitted size or weight limits will be
accepted as checked baggage.
Checked Baggage Policy
Checked baggage allowance for Gulf Air flights departing from Kuala Lumpur
International Airport (KLIA) is determined by the purchased fare and
destination.
• Economy Light: 25 kg
• Economy Smart: 30 kg
•
Economy Flex: 35 kg
• Falcon Gold (Business Class): 40 kg or 50 kg, depending
on the fare purchased.
Passengers travelling on routes that use the piece
concept will receive the baggage allowance shown on their ticket.
Each
checked bag must not exceed 158 cm (62 inches) in total linear dimensions, and
no individual bag may weigh more than 32 kg (70 lbs). Passengers should verify
the baggage allowance stated on their ticket before arriving at Kuala Lumpur
International Airport (KLIA).
Extra Baggage
Additional checked baggage may be purchased before departure through Gulf Air.
Excess baggage charges apply when the permitted weight, number of pieces or
dimensions are exceeded.
Sports equipment and other special baggage are
accepted in accordance with Gulf Air's baggage regulations and may be subject to
additional charges or handling requirements.
