Malaysian Chinese Tourism Association (MCTA)

Malaysian Chinese Tourism Association (MCTA) was initially incorporated by a group of concerned and dedicated Malaysian Chinese travel agents. It was officially registered with the Registrar of Societies (ROS) on 14th Sept 1992.

It the 9 years of existences, MCTA has not had a home to call its own until 23rd Nov 2001. With the supports and contributions of the members, the association managed to purchase its secretariat office which is made up of 1,406 square feet of office space at 2 – 3A, Jalan Pandan 2/1, Pandan Jaya, 55100 Kuala Lumpur.

These days, the association has grown up and become a “teenager”, where the secretariat team has expanded from 1 staff to 5 staff (full & part time), from less than 50 to nearly 300 members nationwide and from none to affiliated with 3 national tourism bodies, i.e. National Tourism Council Malaysia (NTCM), The Chinese Chamber of Commerce & Industry of Kuala Lumpur & Selangor (KLSCCCI) &The Selangor Chinese Assembly Hall.
