Deerland Park
Deerland is located not far from the
Kuala Gandah Elephant Sanctuary 
and Krau Wild Life Reserve, Bukit Tinggi. 
Yet another interesting animal center open for visit. This privately own 4 
hectares deer farm has over 30 Indonesian deer (Cervus timorences), apart from 
deer, there are also sun bear, snakes, monkeys and etc. 
In the serene and untouched natural environment, you get a chance to interact 
with the smart yet humble deer. Apart from learning more about them, you also 
get a chance to feed and stroke the deer. 
Apart from that, there's also ostrich, sun bear, snake and much more to keep you 
amused. Other attractions include a dedicated area to cultivate herbs and 
spices.
There are over 40 species of herbs including the ever famous Tongkat Ali which 
is believed to have medicinal properties. There is also knotted rope used to 
swing across the river by the adventurous heart. If not, enjoy the wooden 
walkway leading up to an observation tower at Bukit Rengit 
Nearby attractions include the 
Kuala Gandah Elephant Sanctuary at Bukit Gandah and
Krau Wild Life Reserve where you can 
bath and feet the elephants and see more interesting animals in Malaysia. For a 
more relaxing an cooling climate, head to Bukit Tinggi for a cup of tea and 
enjoy the beautiful European decoration.
Getting There
The best way to visit Deerland is by self-drive. That way you can also explore 
the other nearby attractions. From Kuala Lumpur, take the Karak Highway to 
Lanchang. At Lancang, take a left turn before the petrol station and you will 
see signage for Kuala Gandah 
Elephant Sanctuary. 
Deerland Park is located on the right along the way to the
Kuala Gandah Elephant Sanctuary. 
The journey will take about 2 hours from Kuala Lumpur.
