Museum Army Port Dickson
The Museum Army Port Dickson, known by local as known locally as Muzium 
Tentera Darat, is a reservoir of war, where various inheritances, collection, 
weapons and artifact of battleships is kept and preserved to retain the love for 
this country.
A property of the Malaysian Royal Armed Forces, the museum traces its exploits 
and achievements through history, trumped up with dramatised aspects and 
romantic story-telling. In addition to the museum buildings, the spacious 
grounds also house decommissioned military vehicles, including planes, tanks and 
artillery guns, and a memorial fountain dedicated to soldiers who served through 
Malaysia's war history. Open daily from morning till evening, entry is free for 
all visitors.
Due to its unique collections and sentimental value, it has been awarded a MERIT 
AWARD in the category of 'Best Tourist Attraction', National Identity 2005/6 by 
Tourism Malaysia. Port Dickson was the first home to Malay Regiment in 1933 and 
hence there are many precious documentation and underground tunnel of the 
Malayan Communist Party open for visit.
Other nearby attractions includes the Port Dickson Beach. These places are 
packed with visitors especially during weekends and school holidays.

Getting There
Port Dickson is located about 40 km from KLIA and 90 km from Kuala Lumpur. You 
can drive along the North South Expressway and exist and Seremban and proceed to 
Port Dickson from there, which is about 50 km from Seremban. Express buses are 
widely available at most of the main bus terminal in Kuala Lumpur.
Otherwise you can board by rail, KTM furthest stops are Seremban and you can 
catch a bus or taxi to Museum Army Port Dickson. The Museum is located next to a 
military base off the main road at 5th mile, about 7 km away from Port Dickson 
town.
