Pantai Tengah

Pantai Tengah is another popular beach about 500 meters to the south of
Pantai Cenang, 5 minutes’ walk away-separated by a small cape. It has clear blue
waters but not very preferable for swimming as it is full of jellyfish. The
waters get a little darkened and muddy in rainy season. Pantai Tengah is
surprisingly quieter than its neighbor island, Pantai Cenang.
Pantai Tengah is rated as the great spot for those who are looking for a
peaceful beach that could chill anyone's out there when you are walking or
sitting on the white sand beach.
As the Pantai Tengah is well known for it quiet and peaceful environment, few
restaurants are built with creation of fantastic ambience - couples would
definitely find it great and fall in love with it at the first sight.
It is the longest beach in Langkawi with luxury sidewalks. There are a few
retail-shops, souvenir shops, fast food and ice-cream parlors available in
Pantai Tengah. You can also go for Island Hopping to visit the most interesting
nearby islands which are Pulau Singa Besar and Pulau Dayang Bunting.
This beach is relatively silent and calm later in the evenings as it does not
have many bars but restaurants. Accommodation is readily available and you could
find from highly luxury resorts to cheap chalets and a selection of restaurants.

Located just around the southern road bend of Pantai Cenang, most does not know
the fact that Pantai Tengah is the continuance of Pantai
Cenang. Situated at the
quieter side compared to Pantai
Cenang, one's would be able to reach the
renowned Kuah Town in less than 30 minutes car ride. Pantai Tengah is situated
near to the
Langkawi International
Airport (LGK) which is considered very convenient for most of the
tourists makes the whole journey easier and hassle free.
To get to Langkawi, you can either go by air or by ferry. The ferry operates
only four routes from Kuala Kedah, Kuala Perlis, Penang and also Satun, in
Thailand. However, it is usually packed with crowds during the ride.

there are daily flights provided by budget airlines like
