Miri Airport

Miri Airport (IATA: MYY, ICAO: WBGR) is an airport serving Miri, a city in
the state of Sarawak in East Malaysia. Miri Airport is the busiest domestic
airport in the country, serving on average of 1.5 million passengers annually.
Situated in Jalan Airport, Miri Airport is 9.5 km (5.9 mi) south east of Miri
city centre.
Miri Airport is a major hub for
Malaysia Airlines
(operated by
MASwings) which took over most of the mainly rural domestic services
from FlyAsianXpress.
AirAsia and
MYAirline also flights to this airport.
Travel agents and hotels usually pick up guests from airport. Taxis into town
are readily available. Taxis use the coupon system, pay for a 'taxi coupon'
purchased at the airport. Taxi fee is around RM20.00 for going to Miri town
center.
