Bario Airport
Bario Airport (IATA: BBN, ICAO: WBGZ) is an airport in Bario, a town in the
state of Sarawak in Borneo.
The Airport has one bitumen surface runway, oriented 11/29, the length of
runway is 2,198 ft (670 m) with elevation 3,450 ft (1,052 m) above sea
level. The airport is managed and control by Malaysia Airports Sdn Bhd.
Malaysia Airlines
(operated by
MASwings) provide commercial weekly schedules flights to Ba'kelalan,
Marudi and Miri.
The airport is a major tourism gateway for visitors wishing to experience
jungle trekking in Bario Kelabit Highland.
