IndiGo Baggage Policy
Passengers travelling with IndiGo from Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) are permitted to carry the following:
Carry-on Baggage
Each passenger travelling between India and Kuala Lumpur International Airport
(KLIA) may carry 1 cabin bag weighing up to 7 kg (15.4 lbs).
The cabin
bag must not exceed 55 cm × 35 cm × 25 cm, including handles and wheels.
Passengers may also carry 1 personal item, such as a handbag, laptop bag or
small backpack, within the permitted allowance.
Cabin baggage is subject
to security screening at KLIA. Items exceeding the permitted size or weight must
be checked in before departure.
Checked Baggage Policy
Passengers travelling between India and Kuala Lumpur receive a 30 kg
complimentary checked baggage allowance, subject to the fare purchased and the
baggage allowance stated on the ticket.
Each checked bag must not exceed
158 cm (length + width + height) in total dimensions. The maximum weight for any
individual checked bag is 23 kg. Baggage weighing more than 23 kg is not
accepted as checked baggage.
Extra Baggage
Additional checked baggage may be purchased before departure through IndiGo's
website, mobile app or customer service. Advance purchase is available at lower
rates than airport excess baggage charges.
Additional fees apply when the
checked baggage exceeds the permitted allowance. Special baggage, including
sports equipment and musical instruments, is accepted in accordance with
IndiGo's baggage policy and applicable charges.
