Himalaya Airlines Baggage Policy
Passengers travelling with Himalaya Airlines from Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) are permitted to carry the following:
Carry-on Baggage
Each passenger travelling with Himalaya Airlines may bring the following cabin
baggage:
• All Classes: 1 cabin bag up to 7 kg (15.4 lbs).
The
cabin baggage must not exceed 51 cm × 40 cm × 23 cm, including handles and
wheels, and must fit securely in the overhead compartment or under the seat.
Cabin baggage is subject to security screening and operational requirements.
Baggage exceeding the permitted weight or size limits may be required to be
checked into the aircraft hold.
Checked Baggage Policy
Checked baggage allowance for Himalaya Airlines flights between Kathmandu
and Kuala Lumpur is determined by the travel route and booking class:
•
Kuala Lumpur (KUL) to Kathmandu (KTM): 40 kg for passengers booked under RBD Y.
• Kuala Lumpur (KUL) to Kathmandu (KTM): 35 kg for passengers booked under RBD
M/K/L/G/V/T/S/N/H/Q/E/B.
• Kathmandu (KTM) to Kuala Lumpur (KUL): Up to 30 kg
free checked baggage allowance.
A maximum of 2 checked baggage pieces is
permitted. Each individual checked baggage piece must not exceed 30 kg in weight
and 158 cm (62 inches) in total linear dimensions (length + width + height).
Passengers should verify the baggage allowance shown on their ticket or
booking confirmation before departure.
Extra Baggage
Additional baggage may be purchased
through Himalaya Airlines before departure, subject to availability and
applicable charges.
Excess baggage fees apply when the total baggage
allowance exceeds the entitlement stated on the passenger’s ticket.
Sports equipment, oversized baggage, and special baggage may require prior
approval and additional handling arrangements.
