Air Macau Lost and Found at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA)

If you have misplaced an item during your Air Macau flight or within Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA), the appropriate reporting procedure depends on where the item was lost. Follow the sections below to report and recover your belongings.

Items Left on Board the Aircraft

Passengers who leave personal belongings on an Air Macau aircraft after arriving at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) should contact Air Macau’s airport handling team for assistance.

To help locate the item, passengers should provide their flight details, travel date, seat number, and a clear description of the missing property.

Items Lost at the Airport

Lost items within KLIA, including check-in counters, security areas, immigration zones, boarding areas, and arrival halls, are managed by Kuala Lumpur International Airport’s Lost and Found service.

Passengers should provide information about where and when the item was lost, together with a detailed description, to support the recovery process.

Baggage-Related Lost Property

Passengers whose checked baggage does not arrive on an Air Macau flight should report the issue immediately at the baggage services counter after arrival.

A Property Irregularity Report (PIR) will be issued to start the baggage tracing process. Passengers should keep their baggage tag and flight documents until the baggage case is resolved.

Reporting a Lost Item

Passengers reporting a lost item should provide:

• Flight number
• Date of travel
• Seat number (if the item was left onboard)
• Description of the missing item
• Contact details

For checked baggage issues, passengers must also provide the baggage claim tag received at check-in.

Recovery and Collection

When a lost item is recovered, collection arrangements will be provided to the passenger.

Items may be collected personally at the designated location at KLIA. Collection by another person may require written authorization and identification documents.

Passenger Advice

Passengers should report missing checked baggage before leaving the KLIA arrival area.

Early reporting allows the baggage tracing process to begin and helps the airline and airport teams locate the missing baggage efficiently.
