Passengers travelling on Air France flights from Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) may bring cabin baggage according to their travel class:

Economy Class
• 1 cabin bag + 1 personal item
• Combined weight: up to 12 kg (26.4 lbs)

Premium Economy Class
• 2 cabin bags + 1 personal item
• Combined weight: up to 12 kg (26.4 lbs)

Business Class and La Première Class
• 2 cabin bags + 1 personal item
• Combined weight: up to 18 kg (39.6 lbs)

Each cabin bag must not exceed 55 cm × 35 cm × 25 cm, including handles and wheels. Cabin baggage must fit in the overhead compartment, while personal items must fit under the seat in front.

Carry-on baggage is subject to security screening at KLIA. Bags exceeding the permitted size or weight limits must be checked into the aircraft hold.

Checked Baggage Policy

Checked baggage allowance on Air France flights departing from Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) depends on the fare and travel class:

Economy Class
• Up to 1 piece
• Maximum weight: 23 kg (50 lbs)

Premium Economy Class
• 2 pieces
• Each piece up to 23 kg (50 lbs)

Business Class
• 2 pieces
• Each piece up to 32 kg (70 lbs)

La Première Class
• 3 pieces
• Each piece up to 32 kg (70 lbs)

Each checked bag must not exceed 158 cm in total linear dimensions (length + width + height).

The maximum weight for any individual checked bag is 32 kg. Bags exceeding this limit must be transported as cargo.

Passengers should check the baggage allowance shown on their ticket or booking before arriving at KLIA.

Extra Baggage

Additional baggage may be purchased through Air France before departure. Fees apply when baggage exceeds the included allowance for weight, size or number of pieces.

Extra baggage charges depend on the route, fare conditions and baggage type.

Sports equipment and special baggage may require advance request and additional charges.
