Air Algérie Baggage Policy
Passengers travelling with Air Algérie from Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) are permitted to carry the following:
Carry-on Baggage
Passengers travelling with Air Algérie are allowed to bring one cabin baggage on
board.
Cabin Baggage Allowance:
• Maximum weight: 10 kg (22 lbs)
• Maximum dimensions: 55 cm × 35 cm × 25 cm
Cabin baggage must fit in the
overhead compartment or under the seat in front of the passenger.
For
flights operated by ATR aircraft, the cabin baggage allowance is reduced to 5 kg
with smaller permitted dimensions.
Carry-on baggage is subject to
security screening at KLIA. Cabin baggage exceeding the permitted weight or size
limits must be checked into the aircraft hold and may be subject to additional
charges.
Checked Baggage Policy
Air Algérie
checked baggage allowance depends on the passenger’s route, travel class, and
ticket conditions.
The applicable free baggage allowance is displayed on
the passenger’s ticket or booking confirmation.
Checked Baggage
Restrictions:
• Maximum dimension per piece: 158 cm (62 inches) total
linear dimensions (length + width + height)
• Maximum weight per piece: 32 kg
(70 lbs)
Passengers exceeding their included baggage allowance may be
required to pay excess baggage charges.
Any single baggage piece
exceeding 32 kg cannot be accepted as standard checked baggage and must be
transported as cargo.
Passengers departing from KLIA should confirm their
baggage allowance before check-in.
Extra Baggage
Passengers may purchase additional baggage allowance through Air Algérie,
subject to availability and applicable fees.
Excess baggage charges apply
when baggage exceeds the permitted allowance in terms of:
• Additional
baggage pieces
• Excess weight
• Oversized dimensions
Sports
equipment, special baggage, and oversized items may require prior approval and
additional handling charges.
Passengers are advised to check the latest
