In early 2016, like any other internet user, I frequently searched for 'attractions in Malaysia' using Google, my go-to search engine. Most of the time, I would find websites that seemed to have the information I was looking for. However, upon clicking the links, I encountered a new set of problems. Some websites lacked user-friendliness, some were disorganized making it hard to find the proper information, and to worsen the experience, some were slow and hadn't been updated for years.

That's when, on 23 April 2016, I seized the opportunity and registered the domain name TravelAgent.my (luckily, it had not been renewed). Despite not being a travel agency or tour operator, the objective of this website was clear - to provide a user-friendly travel agent directory and travel information hub for Malaysia. It aimed to cater to all potential travelers seeking information about traveling in Malaysia.
